  1. Purpose: My Designed Life focuses on helping people achieve specific goals and make positive changes in their lives, while therapy aims to help people heal from psychological and emotional wounds.

  2. Focus: My Designed Life focuses on the present and future and on helping people move forward, while therapy typically focuses on the past and on resolving past issues.

  3. Method: My Designed Life typically involves setting goals and developing action plans to achieve them, while therapy often involves exploring deep-seated feelings and emotions.

  4. Relationship: My Designed Life allows consistent collaboration including phone coaching which allows the client to figure out what skills to implement and how to use them to navigate difficult everyday situations. Sometimes, calls also focus on how to get through a crisis  helping the client find their own solutions. The relationship between a therapist and a patient is typically more formal and hierarchical with the therapist playing a more directive role.

  5. Training: My Designed Life is a combination of modalities that I have utilized personally and for others and from my experience, growth and success wish to share with you. Like licensed mental health professionals, confidentiality is always honored.
